One of the main requirements of UAV design is low fuselage weight. Therefore, the use of composite materials is one of the light and cost-effective options for manufacturing the UAV fuselage. On the other hand, freeform surfaces and arbitrary geometries require the use of three-dimensional construction methods. Among the ۳D manufacturing methods, various methods are used for additive manufacturing of composite parts. In this research, the use of Fused Filament Fabrication process for the additive manufacturing of polymer composite UAV reinforced with carbon fibers has been investigated. At first, the design requirements of the UAV fuselage and wing were examined, and the optimal conditions and usable materials for the construction of the UAV fuselage were presented. Then, according to previous researches, the feasibility of three-dimensional construction of the composite UAV fuselage has been evaluated.
