The Impact of Tourism on Maternity Care and Childbirth Experiences

This article investigates how tourism can influence childbirth experiences and maternity care using a mixed-methods research approach. In this study, initially, ۲۰ pregnant women with travel experience were selected as the۱target sample and completed standardized questionnaires regarding their experiences in tourism, maternity care, and childbirth. The paper explores the relationship between travel experiences and maternal experiences during pregnancy and childbirth, as well as the positive and negative impacts of these experiences on healthcare and childbirth. It addresses both the fields of maternity and tourism and seeks to examine the connections between them.
