چکیده مقاله:

This review article explores the intricate interplay between epigenetics and nutrigenomics in the context of sports optimization. Epigenetic modifications, including DNA methylation, histone modification, and non-coding RNA expression, play pivotal roles in regulating gene expression patterns. Nutrigenomics, on the other hand, investigates how dietary components influence gene expression and, subsequently, physiological outcomes. The integration of these two fields unveils a fascinating relationship wherein dietary choices can modulate gene expression, impacting various aspects of sports performance and adaptation. The article provides an overview of key epigenetic mechanisms and their relevance to sports physiology. It further delves into the emerging field of nutrigenomics, elucidating how nutrients and bioactive compounds found in common dietary choices can influence epigenetic marks and gene expression patterns. Notably, the review highlights specific dietary components, such as omega-۳ fatty acids, polyphenols, and micronutrients, which have been implicated in modulating gene expression linked to athletic performance, recovery, and adaptation. Moreover, the article discusses the potential implications of epigenetic and nutrigenomic insights for personalized nutrition strategies in the realm of sports optimization. Understanding how individual genetic variations interact with dietary factors can inform tailored approaches to enhance athletic training outcomes, minimize injury risks, and optimize recovery. The integration of cutting-edge technologies, such as epigenome mapping and personalized genomics, offers promising avenues for advancing precision nutrition in sports. In conclusion, this review synthesizes current knowledge at the intersection of epigenetics and nutrigenomics, shedding light on the mechanisms through which dietary choices can fine-tune gene expression for sports optimization. By elucidating these intricate interactions, the article provides a foundation for future research and the development of personalized nutritional interventions to maximize athletic performance and overall well-being.
