چکیده مقاله:

The solid-phase photocatalytic degradation of polystyrene-co-acrylonitrile (SAN)- ۲ TiO nanocomposite film was investigated under the ambient air in order to assess the feasibility of developing photodegradation polymers. The photodegradation of the composite films was compared with that of pure SAN films through performing iscometery measurements, Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, gel permeation chromatography (GPC) and colorimetry results. Thermal stability of pure SAN and composite films was studied by thermogravimetry analysis (TGA). ۲ T iO -embeded SAN showed highly enhanced photodegradation. The photocatalytic degradation of thecomposite film accompanied the increase in the FT-IR carbonyl peak intensity. Colorimetry results of the irradiated composite film showed the development of degradable sites among the polymer matrix that have an increasing effect on polymer photodegradation.
