A Novel Continuous Variable Clonal Optimization Algorithm

A novel Continuous Variable Clonal (CVClonal) algorithm based on immune system is presented. This algorithm is compared with other clonalalgorithms such as ClonalG, Opt-aiNet and ModifiedImmune Optimization algorithm. They are tested to find the local and the global optima of the multi-modal andthe roots functions. The CVClonal algorithm found almost all local optima and the first global optimum of the multi-modal and roots functions incomparably faster than other Algorithms
