A study to investigate the biological treatment of wastewater containing cyanide and the mechanism of biological decomposition

Cyanide compounds enter the water stream from industrial effluents and cause environmental pollution and endanger the health of humans and animals. There are various solutions to treat these cyanide-contaminated waters, which target cyanide or purify cyanide. Among them are wastewater treatment methods (plant treatment, biotechnology, etc.), currently, the mechanism and progress in the use of biological treatment for the removal of cyanide compounds and describes its advantages over other treatment processes. It also includes various microbial pathways for their removal. Limitations of this process are also discussed.
