چکیده مقاله:

The electrode materials play a significant role in determining the efficiency of the capacitivedeionization (CDI) process. In the present study, the synthesis of CoFe۲O۴ ferrite and its electrochemicalperformance as a CDI electrode were investigated thorough cyclic voltammetry (CV) and electrochemicalimpedance spectroscopy (EIS) analysis. Finally, the CDI electrosorption capacity and salt removal efficiency ofthe CoFe۲O۴ electrode were investigated using Flow-through CDI cell configuration. Under optimizedexperimental conditions the highest electrosorption capacity of ۱۹ mg/g was obtained.
