Design and Synthesis of ۲-Benzomidazolylmeyhyl Chalcone Hybrid Conjugates as potentialTherapeutic Agents

This paper describes the design and synthesis of novel ۲-benzimidazolylmethyl chalcone hybridconjugates. The compounds were synthesized by coupling ۲-chloromethylbenzimidazole with the desiredchalcones. Due to the known beneficial biological properties of benzimidazole and chalcone derivatives, it isanticipated that these conjugate compounds may exhibit promising therapeutic properties
