چکیده مقاله:

Berberis integerrima belongs to the Berberidaceae family, and has many pharmacological activitiessuch as hepatoprotective, antimicrobial, antihypertensive, antioxidant, and antidiabetic effects. In this study,phenolic acid constituents of the juice and waste of Berberis integerrima were studied. The results indicated thatthe main phenolic acids were rosmarinic acid (۱۴۴۶.۱ and ۳۳۹.۵ mg/۱۰g), para-coumaric acid (۱۵۱.۴ and ۷۳.۱mg/۱۰g), and protocatechuic acid (۵۱.۳ and ۵۹.۴ mg/۱۰g) in the juice and waste, respectively. So, these samplecan exhibit high antioxidant properties s because of the high amounts of these compounds.
