چکیده مقاله:
Analyzing the levels of anticancer medications in biological samples and body fluids reveals importantdetails on the course and effects of chemotherapy. In this study, an electrochemical sensor based on zinc oxidepolyaniline(ZnO-PANI) modified carbon paste electrode was developed for the voltammetric determination ofmethotrexate (MTX). Studying the electrochemical characteristics of modified electrode using cyclicvoltammetry (CV) and square wave voltammetry (SWV) techniques revealed the modified electrode can exhibitexcellent catalytic activity, wide dynamic linear range, low detection limit, good sensitivity, and high accuracy.Under optimized conditions, using the developed electrochemical sensor, a linear response range of ۰.۰۰۵–۱۰۰.۰ μM with a limit of detection of ۱.۸ nM was achieved for MTX. Finally, the ZnO-PANI/CPE sensor wassuccessfully applied toward the determination of MTX in the biological matrix.
