Thin-film microextraction based on COF /PPY adsorbent for the determination of BTEXs inwater samples

A novel adsorbent based on covalent organic frameworks (COFs), named COF /PPY, was synthesized and utilizedas a sorbent for thin film microextraction (TFME) of BTEXs in water samples. The surface morphology and structure of thesynthesized adsorbent were characterized using FT-IR, XRD, SEM, EDX and BET analysis. The developed TFME set up wascoupled with GC-FID and used for the analysis of BTEXs in contaminated water samples.
