The Application of NanoCatalyst Fe۳O۴-Guanidine/Go-Guanidine in Knoevenagel Reaction

In the present study, a novel magnetic Fe۳O۴-Guanidine/Go-Guanidine material with a layeredstructure is prepared and characterized, and its catalytic performance is investigated in the one-potcondensation of aldehydes with ethyl cyanoacetate. This nanomaterial showed an excellent efficiency in theKnoevenagel condensation of aldehydes with ethyl cyanoacetate and gave the corresponding coupling productsin high yields.
