Ag-Catalyzed Cyclization Reaction of N′-(۲-Alkynylbenzylidene)hydrazides andAcetylenedicarboxylate

We describe sequential silver(I) salt catalyzed enantioselective and diastereoselective synthesis of adiversity of unprecedented fused heterocyclic compounds from the reaction of readily available N’-(۲-alkynylbenzylidene)hydrazide with dialkyl acetylenedicarboxylates. This approach facilitates the selectivepreparation of tetracyclic ring-fused ۱,۶-Naphthyridines derivatives in moderated to good yields with highdiversity.
