In this study, a sample preparation procedure based on salt-induced homogeneous liquid–liquidextraction performed in a narrow-bore tube was used for the preconcentration and extraction of Zn(II), Cu(II),and Cd(II) ions from honey samples. The linear ranges and extraction recoveries were obtained in the ranges of۱.۵–۱۰۰ mg kg−۱ and ۸۹.۶–۹۴.۸%, respectively. The detection limits ranged from ۰.۳۵ to ۰.۴۸ mg kg−۱. Lowrelative standard deviations (C = ۱۰ mg L−۱ , n = ۶) of ۳.۱, ۲.۸, and ۳.۴% for Zn(II), Cu(II), and Cd(II), respectively,were obtained.
