Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are known for their excellent physical and thermal properties.UiO-۶۶ and UiO-۶۶-NH۲ were used to prepare a series of novel composites from epoxy resin and Novolac (EUand EUN samples, respectively). Moreover, the operating temperature of the prepared composites wascalculated and compared for four sets of heating rates. Up to ۱۰% mass loss, the mean operating temperaturefor using the neat epoxy, EU, and EUN composites for ۲۰۰۰۰ h, was found to be ۱۸۴.۱۷ ℃, ۲۴۶.۲۶ ℃, and ۲۴۷.۷۳℃, respectively.
