Enhancement of the Internal Electric Field in BiFeO۳/ZnS Z-Scheme Heterostructure forRhB Degradation

We designed a novel lead-free BiFeO۳-ZnS (BFO/ZnS) heterostructure for piezocatalytic reactions.BFO/ZnS (۹۰/۱۰) represented superior performance in RhB oxidation, degrading ۹۴.۲% of RhB in ۱۵ minvibration. The open circuit voltage analysis revealed that BFO/ZnS (۹۰/۱۰) possesses a higher internal electricfield, supporting its exceptional piezocatalytic activity
