Facile synthesis of ۳,۵-disubstituted isoxazoles using copper-hydroxyacetophenonethiosemicarbazone complex on silica-coated magnetite nanoparticles as an efficientheterogeneous nano catalyst

A facile and efficient method for synthesis of ۳,۵-disubstituted isoxazoles via cycloaddition ofterminal alkynes with in situ generated nitrile oxides catalyzed by Fe۳O۴@SiO۲-HAT-Cu(I) as a magneticallyseparable nano catalyst is described. The catalyst is inexpensive, reusable, chemically and thermally stable.The catalyst structure was characterized by different techniques.
