چکیده مقاله:

A Stable thiazolopyrimidine obtained in excellent yields from reaction between ۴-propylthiouracil andɑ-bromoketones in deep utectic solvent (DES). A mixture of urea and choline chloride (DES) was used as agreen media. This product was characterized by FT-IR, ۱H NMR and ۱۳C NMR spectroscopy. In continue, Antioxidantactivity was assessed by using an assay based on the inhibition of DPPH (۱-diphenyl-۲-picrylhydrazyl)radicals using Butylated hydroxytoluene as standard. Results were recorded as IC۵۰ which is the concentrationof antioxidant that reduces the free radical of DPPH about ۵۰%. The thiazolopyrimidine derivative shows amoderate antioxidant effect with an IC۵۰ of ۵ mg/mL compared to BHT as a positive control (۰.۰۱ mg/mL).
