Expression improvement of recombinant endolysin in BL۲۱(DE۳) pLysS

Prophage lysin PlyF۳۰۷ is a hydrolase enzyme resulted from genome screening of AcinetobacterBaumannii can break apart its peptidoglycan layer of cell wall. A. baumannii is a highly resistant, globallydistributed hospital pathogen. This enzyme can be used as a natural antibacterial substance in recombinantform. In this study, we used E. coli BL۲۱(DE۳) pLysS, to produce the recombinant enzyme and optimize itsexpression.
