Molecular identification of the isolated bacteria producing pectinase enzyme from fruitand vegetable soil

Pectinolytic bacteria produce pectinases that can break down the pectin. After selecting the mostpotent isolates regarding pectinolytic activity, the DNA was extracted for molecular identification. PCR wasperformed on the DNA fragments of the samples to identify their ۱۶S rDNA fragments. The PCR products weresequenced, and subsequently subjected to BLAST on the NCBI website.
