چکیده مقاله:
There are several techniques that fall under additive manufacturing, among them, material extrusion is more commonly used due to its advantages. In this field, the primary focus of most efforts is on thermoplastic polymers and the Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) technique. On the other hand, the use of thermosets is less common due to the challenges inherent in their application. This research presents an innovative solution to the challenges faced in the application of thermosets in additive manufacturing by utilizing a unique extrusion system based on the Direct Ink Writing (DIW) technique. A relationship between printing time and ambient temperature is proposed to modify the resin rheology, thereby eliminating the need for additional additives, a common practice in the field. The tensile properties of ۳D-printed specimens, created at two distinct angles (۰° and ۹۰°), are thoroughly examined and compared with the properties outlined in the datasheet. This groundbreaking approach paves the way for a wider application of thermosets in additive manufacturing, potentially leading to significant advancements in the field.
