چکیده مقاله:
Herein, an electrochemical treatment process has been developed for efficient removal of ۲, ۴-dichlorophenol (۲, ۴-DCP) from industrial wastewater using electro-Fenton (EF) process. To optimize the operating parameters, response surface methodology (RSM) has been applied. The significance of the predicted model and the independent variables effects on response has been confirmed by analysis of variance (ANOVA). The best removal efficiency of ۹۸.۵ percentage has been achieved under optimal experimental condition including H۲O۲ dosage ۹۰ μL, ۲, ۴-DCP concentration ۶.۰ mg L-۱, current density ۸.۰ mA.cm-۲, during reaction time of ۱۰ min. The polynomial equation of the model revealed that, H۲O۲ dosage had the most significant effect on ۲, ۴-DCP removal efficiency among other variables. According to the obtained experimental data, the kinetics of the degradation process was in satisfactory agreement with the first order model with correlation coefficient
