چکیده مقاله:

Cancers, including cervical cancer, are among the most common diseases affecting womenand one of the leading causes of death for women worldwide. This cancer continues to be theprimary cause of death for women in many underdeveloped countries with inadequate healthcareand medical services. In the past decade, microalgae biotechnology has emerged as a significantoption for obtaining food and biomolecules, including proteins, vitamins, pigments, polyunsaturated fatty acids, and substances with anti-tumor activity. Microalgae are also knownto be rich in natural antioxidants and can serve as a significant source of long-chain EPA andDHA omega-۳ fatty acids, surpassing fish oil in nutritional value. The use of microalgae has thepotential to be beneficial in the treatment of this disease due to its antioxidant and immunesystem modulating properties, as well as its anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, and otherantioxidant activities.
