Nowadays, it is very common to use more efficient systems. Recovering the heat of flaregases is a method to use the waste energy and helps the development of the industries.Recovered flare gasses can be applied in the downstream energy sources for thegeneration of useful productions. In this thesis, a trigeneration system is investigated torecover the flare gases of the oil fields. Subsystems were studied, including the gasturbine, ORC cycle, double-effect absorption refrigeration cycle, and the PEM unit toproduce power, cooling, and hydrogen. The effect of different parameters on theefficiency of the first and second laws, the net produced power, the amount of coolingeffect, and the hydrogen production rate in the trigeneration system was investigated, andthe amount of exergy destruction in each component was also calculated. All thecalculations are performed by using EES software. After a comprehensive analysis, it isfound that the total amount of power produced by the proposed cycle is ۶۹۱۷۶ kW, andthe amount of hydrogen generated by the system is ۰.۱۴۷ kg/s. The energy and exergyefficiencies of the system are ۳۴.۷۷ % and ۳۰.۰۹ %, respectively. Among the sub-cycles,the absorption chiller has the highest amount of exergy destruction rate. By increasing theflare flow rate, the amount of power produced by the system increases. Increasing theambient temperature reduces the power production rate of the cycle.
