چکیده مقاله:

Anxiety and depression are two internalizing illnesses that are among the most prevalent psychological disorders in kids and teens. Research on the development of depression and anxiety suggests that internalizing disorders can be reduced, even prevented, by encouraging more accurate cognitive processes, problem-solving skills, and supportive family interactions. Numerous cognitive-behavioral therapies have demonstrated potential in the management and prevention of anxiety and depression. We examine the Resiliency Program as an illustration of one of these initiatives. We propose that the majority of the skills taught in the RP and related preventive treatments can help boost young people's resilience more broadly and are not specific to depression or anxiety. Children who get interventions that teach and practice these abilities will be better equipped to handle the range of challenging circumstances they will inevitably face as they grow into adolescence and adulthood.
