In this study, the importance of modern technology in the documentation and revitalization of culturalassets is emphasized. Especially through the example of Persepolis, the documentation andrevitalization process using modern technology methods and tools is examined. It is explained why itis important to document and revitalize cultural assets by emphasizing the cultural and historicalimportance of Persepolis. The role played by modern technology in this process and the methods usedare discussed. High-resolution photography and video technologies are at the forefront of thecontemporary technologies used in the example of Persepolis. In addition, detailed documentation ismade using ۳D scanning and modeling methods. Thanks to these applications, visitors to Persepoliscan have a realistic experience and interact with interactive elements. In addition, the benefits of usingmodern technology in documenting cultural assets are also emphasized in the study. Among thesebenefits are the preservation of documents, transferring them to future generations, accessibility andremote access opportunities, and the potential for use for educational and research purposes.As a result, the use of technologies in cultural heritage areas can bring both positive and negativeeffects. Its positive aspects are that it offers innovative solutions in areas such as heritage preservation,restoration work, visitor experience, education and research. Technologies such as ۳D modeling,augmented reality, automatic data analysis can enable us to better understand, protect and makeaccessible cultural heritage. However, the negative aspects should not be ignored. These negativeeffects can include issues such as loss of cultural values, reduced human interaction, data security andprivacy. Misuse of technologies or abuse by malicious users can damage cultural heritage and lead tothe spread of false information.For this reason, a careful approach should be adopted when using technologies in cultural heritageareas, ethical rules and standards should be observed, and human interaction and cultural valuesshould be prioritized. technologies have great potential when used as a tool to enrich cultural heritage,but balance and precision are important in this process
