Investigating the relationship between demographic variables and environmental responsibility: The study of citizens over ۲۰ years old in Khoy city

Today, the environment has become one of the most important topics in the world because humanity is facing many environmental crises, climate change and global warming are examples of these crises. Scientists believe that most of these crises are caused by humans, who have caused these crises with their actions at the macro and micro levels. For this reason, the current research was conducted with the aim of investigating the effect of demographic variables including gender, marital status, age and education level on the environmental responsibility of Khoy citizens. This research was done with a survey method.Also, ۳۸۴ citizens were selected as a sample by multi-stage cluster sampling method. The data collection tool included a standard questionnaire. Data were analyzed using SPSS software. The results of the research showed that there is a relationship between demographic variables such as age, gender, education level and status with environmental responsibility.
