چکیده مقاله:

MERS virus was first reported in ۲۰۱۲ in Saudi Arabia. This disease is caused by a virus from the corona virus family called MERS-Cov, and about one third of those infected with MERS die. The origin of this disease is reported from bats and camels. In humans, this disease is more commonly known as lower respiratory tract disease (LRT), which includes fever, cough, breathing problems, and pneumonia. This virus is transmitted to healthy people through the respiratory secretions of infected people.Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS_Cov) and acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS_Cov۲) are two common coronaviruses that cause transmission in human populations. To screen and confirm MERS-COV and SARS-COV infection, laboratory diagnosis methods (nucleic acid-based test, protein-based test, and viral culture) were used.۳ methods are recommended for performing diagnostic tests:۱. Sampling from the upper and lower device۲. Blood sample۳. Diagnosis by serological testsIn this disease, high mortality has been observed for those who had an underlying disease.Evidence so far shows that no treatment options or vaccines have been identified for this virus, but research has shown that it is possible to treat the disease through plasma therapy. This treatment method has been tested in South Korea, but no healing results have been obtained yet. There is other promising evidence for SARS-CoV and MERS-CoV. In this way, they found that the two types of coronaviruses are similarly dependent on the cell surface proteases TMPRSS۲.These findings highlight the relevance of unmodified human models and identify TMPRSS۲ as an attractive therapeutic target for coronaviruses, suggesting that an organoid knockout biobank is a valuable tool for investigating the biology of current and future emerging coronaviruses.
