Writing Therapy and Memory Therapy on PTSD and Separation Anxiety in Adolescent Boys in Shiraz

چکیده مقاله:

The statistical population of this research includes teenage boys of Shiraz city. In this research, they were selected from two regions of Shiraz city by available sampling method, and then ۳۰ students who had the highest scores in anxiety and PTSD were selected and replaced in two control and experimental groups. ۱۵ students in the experimental group participated in ten sessions of writing therapy and memory therapy, and ۱۵ students in the control group did not receive such training. The research tool is DAS anxiety questionnaire and PTSD questionnaire which was implemented as pre-test and post-test. To analyze the data, the research hypotheses were tested using covariance analysis. The results showed that writing therapy and memory therapy are effective on PTSD and reducing students' anxiety.
