چکیده مقاله:

Brain is the most complex matter known to human. It emerged on Earth over ۵۰۰,۰۰۰,۰۰۰ years ago and has now evolved into its most complex form: the human brain. A million years ago our ancestors’ thoughts, perception of the world, ideas, skills, problem solving abilities, dreams, were different from what we have now because they had a different type of brain. It is an intriguing task to understand how cognitive abilities have emerged and how the characteristics of our novel cognitive abilities are related to the brains’ emergence of new structures and their functional organization. In this talk I will explain how maternal love emerged about ۱۸۰,۰۰۰,۰۰۰ years ago and will present evidence suggesting that love has been one of the main driving forces for the emergence of large and complex brains and their novel cognitive functions.
