چکیده مقاله:

The present paper discusses a new circuit configurationand a new control method for a single-phase AC DC converterwith power factor correction (PFC) and a power pulsationdecoupling function. The proposed converter can achieve low totalharmonic distortion (THD) on the input current and the powerpulsation decoupling function between the input and output side,which allows low output voltage ripple even on a small outputenergy buffer at the same time using an active buffer. Therefore,the proposed converter does not require large smoothingcapacitors or large smoothing inductors. The buffering energy isstored by a small capacitor, which controls the capacitor voltagevariation through the active buffer. The simulation results revealthat the input current THD is ۱.۴۴%, the rate of the output voltageripple is ۵%, and the input power factor (P.F.) is over ۹۹%. Inaddition, a maximum efficiency of over ۹۵% is obtained for a۱۲۰۰W prototype converter.
