Introduction: Currently information and technology has beenaccepted as a necessary part of the mainstream medicaleducational system throughout the globe. This study aimed tocompare blended learning and e- and learning with respect toGeneral physicians' learning in shiraz university of medicalsciences, southern Iran.Methods: This quasi-experimental research was performed ongeneral practitioners who had participated in continuous medicaleducation (CME) programs about crisis management. All ۱۵۰participants randomly divided into three groups after; twointervention groups (e-learning and Blended learning) and acontrol group (presence education), filling a pre-testquestionnaire . ۲ weeks later, they filled a post-test questionnaire.The data gathering tool was a questionnaire that was completedby the study participants.Results: There was a significant difference between the threegroups (presence education, eLearning, Blended learning).General physicians who participated in blended courses weremore successful than two other groups (p=۰.۰۰۴). However, thewasn't any difference between e-learning and presence groups.The participants in the Blended learning group more satisfiedthan e-learning and presence education (p=۰.۰۰۷).Conclusion: The findings generally showed that blendedlearning is an effective approach to create a deep and long lastinglearning experience in continuous medical education.
