The current world is the age of communication and mass media. Virtual space is a new generation of social relations space, which, although it does not have a long life, has managed to make a place in people's lives and involve many of them. Computer games have entered the families willingly or unwillingly, and if we want to ignore it and deny our children from having these games, we will create more greed in them to play such games and force them to Do it out of our sight. Despite the fact that computer games can have positive and negative effects, but the negative effects are more, there is no supervision on the use of such games, and in fact parents do not have any information about such games. Due to the fact that computer game companies produce games that are of interest to students, they do not pay attention to many issues, including cultural issues, and this causes destructive effects. Behavioral disorders are very common and debilitating disorders that affect a variety of functions, especially children's school performance, and create many problems for teachers, parents, and children and adolescents themselves, and have negative effects on learning. , their communication and social efficiency. Researches show that the prevalence of behavioral disorders in children is increasing and it is possible that the increasing spread of computer games is one of the main reasons. The present study was conducted with the aim of determining the relationship between the amount of use of computer games and the occurrence of behavioral disorders in male students of elementary school. This research was conducted with a descriptive method and in the form of a cross-sectional survey design. Research data was collected from ۳۱۴ male students who studied in the third to sixth grades of Jahrom city in the academic year of ۲۰۱۱-۲۰۱۲. These people were selected from among ۱۰ schools in Jahrom Region ۱ and ۲ using the multi-stage cluster sampling method. The measuring instrument of the research was the behavioral disorder evaluation test and the computer game playing questionnaire. Data were analyzed using multivariate analysis of variance. significant difference between students with different levels of playing computer games, in terms of behavioral disorders in general and also in terms of three forms of behavioral disorders; That is, there was behavior disorder, restlessness and distraction. The use of computer games is an important and effective factor in causing students to develop behavioral disorders and increases the risk of developing behavioral disorders such as conduct disorders, restlessness, and distraction among male primary school students. to give Therefore, in order to reduce the negative effects of excessive use of computer games and behavioral disorders in elementary school students, it is necessary for parents to monitor their children more in terms of the amount of use of computer games.
