چکیده مقاله:

The presence of cracks in the structure reduces its performance and increases the size of the cracks, leading to the failure of the structure. Therefore, the accurate determination of crack characteristics, such as location and depth, is one of the key engineering issues to evaluate the reliability of structures. There is a strong correlation between beam natural frequency changes and crack parameters. Therefore, the location and depth of a crack in a beam can be predicted by measuring its natural frequency. Therefore, the measured natural frequency can be used as the input parameter of the algorithm. To identify the crack location and depth in a cantilever beam, in this study we present a new hybrid optimization technique, Gray Wolf-Atom Orbital Search (AOS-GWO). In general, it can be said that the purpose of this article is to identify cracks in cantilever beams using the new AOS-GWO hybrid optimizer. The integration of the gray wolf methodology in the basic framework of the atom orbital search algorithm has successfully addressed the issue of local optimality trap and has significantly increased the quality of the solutions produced by the algorithm. The purpose of the proposed hybridization method was to promote the improvement of AOS search exploration-exploitation methods.
