Investigation of green algae in warm fish farms of Mazandaran Province

چکیده مقاله:
Knowledge of the composition and abundance of green algae leads to the creation of a clear imagine of the conditions of food and possible evaluation or optimal use of water resources.This research was carried out in order to identify and ecologically investigate the population of green algae and compare their species diversity and distribution. Sampling of green algae was done every ۱۵ days during the months of July, August and September by a ۵۰۰ cc Rottener. In this way, from a distance of three meters from the side of the pool, Rottner took ۵۰۰ cc of pool water from four points of the pool and poured the sample into a bottle and fixed it in ۴% formalin in the same area and after sedimentation in the laboratory, plankton were identified and counted. A total of ۲۳ species of green algae were identified in the water of the studied pools, which included ۲۲% of all observed plankton. Crucigenia tetrapedi and Schroederia setigera species are the most dominant species of green algae in terms of diversity and density and according to the obtained results, the amount of diversity changes has been different. Based on this study, green algae have a relatively high population in these aquatic ecosystems, and knowing more about green algae in warm water fish ecosystems can lead us to a better and better understanding of ecological relationships and better determination of useful species in tropical fish farms.
