Corrective feedback (CF) plays a pivotal role in second language (L۲) learning, contributing to better overall L۲ performance than similar instruction without CF (Lyster, Saito, & Sato, ۲۰۱۳). On the other hand, lexical errors prevent learners from understanding another speaker and impede the negotiation in a second language. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the efficiency of CFs on L۲ vocabulary development of the learners, and the possible differences of their effects among different proficiency levels and age ranges. To this end, ۴۸ EFL students (۲۰ males and ۲۸ females) from different proficiency levels, intermediate, upper-intermediate, and advanced were selected as the participants of the study. They were put into four groups with ۱۲ members. Three of them considered as the experimental groups and one of them assigned as the control group. All groups took a pretest, then the experimental groups received CF during treatment sessions in which they were exposed to ten new vocabularies.Different descriptive and inferential statistical tests were employed and the results indicated that the experimental groups outperformed the control group in the posttest, therefore, corrective feedback can affect the vocabulary development of the learners with different proficiency levels. In contrast, findings revealed that this factor did not affected by the proficiency level or age of the students
