The effects of CSRF on the network

Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) is one of the oldest web vulnerabilities. Despite its popularity and seriousness, the security problem is still poorly studied. This article conducts one of the first security assessments of CSRF defenses implemented by popular web frameworks, with the overall goal of finding additional explanation for the emergence of such traditional vulnerabilities. To do. Our research reveals a rather complex picture, suggesting that while CSRF mitigation implementations exist, their correct and safe use depends on the developer's awareness and expertise in CSRF attacks.
