Maize silage is a high-energy forage that can be used as feed for livestock. It can also improve soil health through residue management. Ensuring the quality and safety of organic fodder for livestock consumption is essential to maintain animal health and productivity. Organic farming practices can improve the quality of organic fodder by enhancing soil health, nutrient content, and crop productivity. Overall, organic fodder production can contribute to sustainable agriculture by improving soil health, reducing environmental impact, increasing food security, and providing opportunities for higher employment and income generation. organic fodder crops can provide high-quality feed for livestock while improving soil health and reducing the environmental impact of agriculture.
