چکیده مقاله:

Summary: Metabolic syndrome is increasing day by day in the modern world and studies show that this increase has a lot to do with the level of physical activity of people. Exercise and physical activity is one of the safe, accessible and cheap ways to gain health and well-being as well as prevent metabolic diseases. Diabetes is one of the most common metabolic diseases. Despite many studies in this field, it seems that there is still no comprehensive proposal to find the best and most effective type of exercise for people with diabetes, especially type ۲ diabetes. In the current study, an attempt was made to identify the most effective type of exercise for diabetics by studying and reviewing previous findings, with an emphasis on improving insulin resistance. To search for related articles, by considering the words insulin, insulin sensitivity, insulin resistance, and diabetes and the combination of the words sports activity, resistance, intense interval, and aerobic activity, Magiran, SID, PubMed, Google scholar, and Science Direct databases were searched. They got. ۹۶ articles were found, and after studying and reviewing, ۳۰ articles were finalized and analyzed. Conclusion: Our study shows that exercise improves insulin sensitivity for diabetic, pre-diabetic and healthy people. We also show that any type of physical activity with any intensity can be effective in improving insulin resistance. Finally, it seems that combined strength and endurance exercises are superior to other types of exercises. However, more and systematic studies are needed to prove this statement.
