Studying Reinforced Concrete Columns retrofittedby Using FRP Fibers

FRP plates which are used in construction industry more than past, have been the center of attention inJapan since ۱۹۸۰s and after this time they were sent Europe and finally all over the world. These materialshave used widely in construction industry because of steel disadvantages such as high weight, lack ofresistance against acidic mediums. Using them have expended due to their unique advantages such as easyinstallation, high flexibility, high resistance against acidic and chemical mediums and light weight. FRPsare found in different shapes with different applications including; carbon materials (CFRP), glass materials(GFRP) and aramid materials (AFRP). They are prepared and used regarding to considered application andenvironmental conditions.
