چکیده مقاله:
Background and Objective:Noise pollution is one of the major environmental problems in cities which has been a growing concern inthe last few years. One of the most important sources of noise pollution is transportation and cars traffic.present study was implemented in ۲۰۱۱ with an overall goal of Effect assessment of some Independentvariables on equivalent sound pressure level(Leq) in the highways of Ahwaz city ,Iran.Research Method:For this study ,data was colleted from totally ۱۱۲measuring stations, ۴ weekdays and ۳ intervals as rushhours, yielding to a total number of ۱۳۴۴ traffic noise measurements (Leq) and the influencial factors fromenvironmental features, road sizes and climate conditions. In the next step, all field data was put to Exceland SPSS, two soft wares for process. Then Regression multi- variables were tested on data in order topresent some stasistical models.ResultsThe findings of this study showed that average of equivalent Sound pressure level in all stations is equalto ۷۲/۶۲ ± ۲/۵۳ dBA. Also ,The result of pearson correlation test showed, there was a marked relationbetween equivalent Sound pressure level and all the Independent variables (P<۰.۰۱).ConclusionAccording to the result of this study the equivalent Sound pressure level(Leq) can be effected by theenvironmental features, road sizes and climate conditions. The models can be developed by definingvariables such as: taffic parameters ,wind speed and gradient effect,estimation of absorption andreflection by construction materials, estimation of absorption by plant species, etc
