چکیده مقاله:

Pharmaceuticals are one of the emerging pollutants that pose a severe threat to the aquatic habitats, which in turn affects other species in the biosphere. The superparamagnetic based nanocomposites modified with a new heterogeneous organic/inorganic nanocatalyst FWF@MOF-Ni was synthesized and utilized in the removal of pharmaceutical pollutants processes. The nanocatalyst was synthesized by combining iron-substituted sandwich-type polyoxometalate (Na۹K[Fe۴(H۲O)۲(FeW ۹O۳۴)۲]·۳۲H۲O abbreviated as FWF), and Ni-metal-organic-framework (Ni-MOF). The obtained nanocomposite (FWF@ Ni-MOF) was characterized via FT-IR, XRD techniques. The adsorptive properties of the nanocomposites were investigated for the removal of pharmaceutical pollutants such as amoxicillin (AMX) from aqueous solutions. The adsorption process of pharmaceuticals was found to reach equilibrium within the first ۱۵ min reporting high removal efficiency of up to ۹۸% for (AMX)for a concentration of ۱۲ mg.
