چکیده مقاله:

The present study aims to investigate the wake-induced vibration of a thin piezoelectric (PZT) actuatorand its potential for vortex-based energy harvesting. To this end, numerical simulations are conducted at aReynolds number of ۲۰۰, with various blockage ratios ranging between ۰.۰۸ and ۰.۵, and utilizing thePZT actuator on the hosted diaphragm. The objective of the investigation is to examine the effects of wallconfinement on the performance of the PZT actuator. To this end, the present model incorporates theeffect of confinement, allowing the lift force of a bluff body to be expressed as a function of the blockageratio. The numerical results reveal that the height of the channel is a critical factor in allowing the vortexto grow and develop, thereby applying maximum force on the diaphragm and generating the highestenergy.
