چکیده مقاله:

Due to the fact that the corrosion of reinforced concrete (RC) is one of the main reasons behind of structural failures structures, corrosion monitoring of reinforcements in concrete structures is very important. Of the useful methods for in-situ evaluation of steel corrosion in RC are non-destructive testing (NDT) methods, based on which the effects of steel corrosion can effectively be evaluated. In this paper, a creative approach based on modern smartphones equipped with Hall-Effect magnetic sensor is presented to monitor rebar corrosion inside the concrete. Due to convenience and feasibility as well as low cost, this method can be applied for effective corrosion monitoring through analyzing the output signals of the Hall-Effect sensor in the smartphone
