چکیده مقاله:

Light is one of the components that comes up next to other elements and concepts such asstructure, spatial order, materials, color, etc., and it must play its role in design as aseparate element. One of the most important characteristics of natural light is itssequence and transformation during the day, which causes movement and change ofstate at different hours. Although the sun is needed to create natural lighting in abuilding, since this light eventually turns into heat, the amount of radiation required foreach building must be provided according to the type of building and its climaticconditions, because the importance of sunlight depends on the climate of the region andthe seasons. It depends on different years. In cold conditions, maximum solar energy isneeded and the building should be placed in a direction that receives the most sunlight. On the contrary, when the weather is hot, the direction of the building should be in sucha way that the intensity of the sun on its walls is minimized and there is no possibilityof direct penetration of the sun's rays into the interior spaces. For this reason, the wayof lighting the building in different climates such as hot and dry and the edge of thedesert and Hot, humid and cold climates are different from each other, and each of theseareas requires a special lighting method according to its own climate. In this regard, therole of natural light in architecture has been presented in this article. The purpose of thisresearch is to show a complete and expressive method for the functions and effects andapplication of natural light and its role in architecture, the directions of natural lightradiation and its effect in architecture and motion and light vectors.
