چکیده مقاله:
Construction fatality prevention literature describes risk management techniques to provide ‘earlywarning’ of potential events. In dynamic construction project environments, these ‘early warnings’ aremissed resulting in serious and fatal events. The aim of this study was to design, develop and validatea mortality prevention program in construction projects of Khomein Municipality using CCRMprinciples through combined research. the Accident Prevention program ‘APP’ was developed andvalidated on Khomein Municipality construction projects. The APP program provided a practicalapproach to risk management which significantly enhanced frontline risk management practices.Modelling of performance indicators identified first aid injuries and hazard reporting were the mostsignificant measures which correlated with supervisor observations, and personal risk assessments APPactivities. A key attribute of the APP was the risk profiling planning tool which provided a four weeklook ahead on the fatal risks, allowing management to focus effort on verifying relevant critical controlsin the field.The aim of this study was to help construction organizations develop and implement lethalhazard prevention programs during the loss of two workers of Khomein Municipality.
