چکیده مقاله:
An increase in serum aminotransferases has been observed in clinical samples in patients with COVID-۱۹, considering that the liver is one of the most common organs that are affected except the lungs, as a result, identifying pro-inflammatory factors in this disease can help. Therefore, this study was conducted with the aim of following up patients with COVID-۱۹ hospitalized in the ICU and four weeks after recovery by performing laboratory tests. The study of COVID-۱۹ was evaluated to compare the diagnostic and biochemical parameters (PHOSP-COVID) in patients admitted to the intensive care unit (average age over ۲۱ years) with the clinical diagnosis of COVID-۱۹. The first day of hospitalization in the ICU and four weeks after discharge included detailed recording of symptoms and biochemical tests. The mean of AST, ALT, creatinine and blood urea nitrogen in the groups with COVID-۱۹hospitalized in the ICU compared to one month after discharge were significantly different between the investigated groups (p<۰.۰۰۰). Finally, our findings suggest that elevated liver function tests may play a prognostic role in COVID-۱۹ patients. More research is needed to confirm this conclusion in larger trials assessments, as well as to investigate precise tissue-level processes.
