Gaba is a real diabet treatment

GABA is a neurotransmitter in the mammalian central nervous system that uses its receptorsto produce inhibitory effects on neurons.GABA is also produced in the pancreas by beta cells and is secreted along with insulin, andby acting on alpha cells, it prevents them from proliferating and lowers blood glucose.In diabetes, beta cells, which make up the GAD enzyme, which is the GABA-producingenzyme in these cells, are targeted by T cells.GABA reduces pancreatic inflammation and increases beta cells by repairing these cells aswell as protecting these cells against the immune systemMaterials and Methods:The present study was conducted in ۲۰۲۲ by searching domestic and foreign publishedarticles using five steps of text search, text selection, data evaluation, data extraction and dataclassification in Google Scholar, Magiran, Pubmed and SID databases. In the initial search,۷۸ articles were found, and after checking the inclusion criteria, ۱۴ articles were examined.Results:several studies showed that GABA increased levels of GABA receptors on alpha cells byincreasing insulin and then GABA binds to these receptors to prevent alpha cells proliferatingConclusion:GABA increases insulin, lowers glucagon and eventually lowers blood sugar and improvesdiabetic indicators
