Evaluating L۲TP Security

Layer ۲ Tunneling Protocol (L۲TP) is a widely used protocol for creating Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) that provide secure communications over the internet. L۲TP uses the combination of the Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP) and the Layer ۲ Forwarding Protocol (L۲F) to create encrypted tunnels for data transmission. However, L۲TP is not without its security risks. Hackers can exploit vulnerabilities in L۲TP implementations to gain unauthorized access to a network, intercept data transmissions, or launch Denial of Service (DoS) attacks. To mitigate these risks, users must take appropriate measures to secure their L۲TP VPN
