چکیده مقاله:
Introduction:Exercise causes a significant increase in, CRP, GM-CSF, IL-۱۰, IL-۱β, IL-۲, IL-۶, IL-۸, TNFα, GR-PHAG, MO-PHAG, and decreases in GR-OBA and MO-OBA.Quercetin is a flavonoid and has strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. The present review aims to evaluate the effect of quercetin supplementation on post-exerciseinflammatory and oxidative factors in Athletes.Search Method:Scientific reports were searched on the PubMed websites from April ۱, ۲۰۰۸,to April ۳۱, ۲۰۲۲. These studies included data from Athletes who received a quercetinsupplement after exercise. Results:One hundred and thirty-eight studies on quercetin supplementation and post-exerciseinflammatory factors were identified. Eleven relative publications were eligible for systematicreview. Finally, after applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, ۵ clinical trials andrandomized clinical trials were found and the following results were obtained from quercetinsupplementation and post-exercise inflammatory and oxidative factors in Athletes:An increase in F۲-isoprostanes was significantly less with post-exercise quercetinsupplementation (p = ۰.۰۳۹).Protein carbonyls, FRAP, ORAC, and TEAC significantlyincreased after exercise but were not affected by quercetin supplementation. Also, IL-۸ andCRP increased significantly immediately after exercise but were not affected by quercetinsupplementation.Taking a high dose of quercetin ingestion of ۱۰۰۰ mg/day does not exertprotection from exercise-induced oxidative stress, inflammation, and immunechanges.Quercetin supplementation did not affect markers of muscle injury or inflammation, including blood XO, IL-۶, uric acid, CRP, and IL-۶ after exercise.Studies indicate thatquercetin significantly reduces exercise-induced lipid peroxidation without associated changesin inflammation or plasma antioxidant status. Conclusion:According to the findings of this review, Quercetin supplementation did not affectmarkers of muscle injury or inflammation after exercise .However, randomized clinical trial studies with larger populations are required in differentsports with different doses of quercetin to be proportionally and accurately examined oninflammatory and oxidative factors after exercise.
